Sven Palzer
You most likely heard of Sven Palzer or even gone sweaty to one of his sets, when you’ve been clubbing around the German Rhein-Ruhr area in the past years. Whether at Düsseldorf’s legendary “Home14“, where he was one of the main residents or nowadays frequently at the uprising “Versteck“ club in Dortmund or Cologne’s most popular afterhour “Breakfast Beats“ to name just a few, Sven is dropping his hypnotizing trippin’ sets, that range between the chunky side of House and the swinging side of Techno, at some of the hottest events around and abroad.
But there’s much more to this multi-activist than just passionately spinning records since the age of 15. Although his first love is the deepest, he has paved his way in the music industry and nowadays additionally promotes and co-directs several labels, owns the booking and promotion agency “BPM Affairs“ and since 2007 runs his own label PUZZLE TRAXX.
The label’s aim is as simple as ambitious – serving soulful pieces of dance electronica far beyond stereotyped thinking! So far Puzzle Traxx has released some well received music by the likes of Patrick Zigon, randomPLAY, Markus Fix, Alex Under, Agnès, Martin Landsky and Sven himself, with support from the world´s DJ elite including Loco Dice, Raresh, Johnny D, Cassy, Karotte, Tiefschwarz, Garnier & many more. The course is set and there´s much more to follow… stay puzzled!
Sven has committed himself completely to music and lives and breathes it. It’s a fulltime job and purpose in life at the same time. Call him a dreamer, but he’s not doing it for the limelight! He’s doing it to see his visions becoming real, to take the scene a little further and push boundaries, for the unity and the sweating bodies. Music has got so much more to give than money and fame!
