When a space changes physically, it also changes the way we feel and move through said space. A space can make one feel comfortable and free, as well as it can threaten and make one feel imprisoned.

The changes in a surrounding space and how our bodies react to them became the main field of research for Bonne’s work. Her installations result in a kinetically moved space: The sound of movement and friction are amplified and work together with lighting to bring the space to life.

Influenced by Dick Raaijmakers philosophical consistency and multi layered works she applies a wide range of disciplines and techniques.

Knibbes’ art is spatial oriented and monumental. Often involving the audience in an active way by interrogating the personal perception of each spectator.
