Tobias is born in 1980, studied philosophy in Heidelberg for three semesters before he started his studies of communication design at University of Applied Sciences, Mannheim. After his Bachelor of Arts in 2008 he continued studying at Filmakademie Baden Württemberg with focus in motion design. He finished with a diploma in motion design in 2010.
In 2005 he started vjing for various music events under the synonym "gleichlang". In 2010 he got together with two fellows and founded Pikdrei, agency for visual communication. Since 2013 he has a lectureship at University of Applied Sciences Mannheim for the disciplines of 3d Motion Graphics and Creative Filmmaking.
His work is focused on motion design, animation and graphics with a strong concentration on 3D.
His personal interests lie in the field of visual effects and cinematography.
