Tatsuru Arai, Cellographics' VJ, is a Japanese composer and sound-graphic programmer who graduated from the Tokyo College of Music and continued his studies at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. Focussing largely on the relationship between music and visuals, he experiments in the field of new media using progressive video technologies. His innovative performances visualising sound and dance movements have been featured at various festivals across Europe.
