Art in public space (also known as public art or urban art) is a collective term for works of art from different epochs and styles that can be experienced by everyone in communal public space, i.e. in urban parks, streets or squares. Art in public space serves to convey cultural values, as an educational offer, so to speak. It is made accessible to everyone through presentation in public space. Keyword: "Culture for everyone!" Art in public space does not have to express itself in fixed installations, but can also take place in the form of actions or in other contemporary artistic forms, such as street art, graffiti mural or ephemeral intervention.
